Nadia Gymnastics club promotes an inclusive culture in which children with disabilities are welcomed, respected and valued in our mainstream classes.
Our GYMABLE classes are designed for children that have physical, psychological, intellectual, sensory or social needs that prevent them from participation in mainstream classes
The classes are designed to provide an enjoyable gymnastics experience
Basic gymnastic and movement activities that promote coordination, balance, gross and fine motor skills are presented in a safe and stimulating environment.
There are 2 classes on offer; each is suited to different needs
Gym Pioneers is designed for children who prefer a more structured approach and are able to follow an adapted programme independently.
Sundays 12.40 - 1.30 pm.
Gym Explorers is for children who like to explore their environment, engaging in physical activity indirectly with a choice of activities that meet their sensory needs.
Sundays 1.30 - 2.15 pm.
In both cases:
Activities are suited to the individual needs of the children.
Children have more space.
Children are given more time to process information.
Alternative communication systems are used as required.
Sensory equipment is provided to meet sensory needs.
Each child is engaged in Physical exercise appropriate to their ability.
